One of the things I hate about being unemployed is my contact information has gotten passed to a lot of people. So, as much as I hate to, I do not answer my phone. If it'* a job offer, I just have to hope they want me bad enough to leave a message.

But, now that I "said that out loud", it sounds stupid. I know my bank would never call me asking for that kind of info. They would send a letter asking me to call them. But, I'm still missing all the telemarketers than sxcan the resume sites for customers....

I know what you mean.

When I was looking for a job a while back and posted my resume and info on all the better sites, I was flooded by crap and scam "offers".

I didn't post this to scare anyone or make anyone paranoid, just to educate us all a bit further and caution about being careful with your personal information.

No wonder when I call you, you don't ever answer.

I think if anyone actually got a hold of any of my information, they would turn tail and run. They can have all my bills, and I sure as hell don't have any money.

And telemarketer calls are usually very quick: "No, I don't have any credit cards. No, I don't have a checking/savings account."

The sad thing is, it'* true...
