You gotta leave the receiver in if you've got a hitch. It'* like having an extra 3 to 6" of bumper that acts like an inertia reduction tool. Ef'* up their ride and leaves yours wanting more!

My receiver was bolted to the frame from factory, so once I bought my hitch it never came out.

If they leave their doors unlocked, you can also pull up their carpeting and put a couple shrimp next to their ground bus. Give it a week and they'll be yearning to buy a bike and get some fresh air. (Variation on a popular urban legend.)

A plastic splitting wedge and a flounder. The wedge give you enough room to get some space between the window and the door panel....the flounder will slip on in. Best done in the summer though! So Ive been told.

I agree. Put a fish in someone'* car in the winter, and you'll feed them for a day. I'd actually appreciate that, as long as it'* below freezing.
