Standing out on the back balcony (upstairs) just now, I saw two male mallards (lake just about 100 feet away) out back in the dark. Whip out the green laser pointer (keep in mind this is over 40mW of green, as compared to the average 1mW red), and shining it around the ducks, I could make them go wherever I wanted! This is frickin' HILARIOUS!

Mine is visible for over 30 miles at night. Not just the spot, but the entire 30 mile length of the beam.

No, I play with BIG lasers at work. This is for training. The guy I went to Pitt with has a 105mW green.
