Actually I rarely ever use the jumper cables. I just like screwing with things. I was the kid that would get a new remote controlled car for christmas, play with it for a month, then fully disassemble it and try to build something else with the parts. I'll probably only use this setup once or twice ever, it'* just more of a "look what I got" sort of thing.

Not yet. Although I did make some wicked things with Legos when I was younger. I figured out a manual tranny and a high powered (rubberband powered) handgun setup using the Technics series( a few small holes in the walls from the amunition "aka: those + shaped rods"). But I do like building things.....and then breaking them .

Only thing I would suggest is make the cables that plug in about 15 -20 feet long if you plan on using them regularly--I don't know about all states, but in some, you cant pull "nose-to-nose" on the freeway, and long cables can reach around/behind a car to get to battery, even if you pull up behind someone (learned that from experience and a ticket for facing the wrong way on the freeway)
You could always put another connection in the rear of the truck. I would solve the problem of nose to nose. There is also no telling what you could use a good 12V connection in the back for.

On second though. You could get a removable winch that mounts into the square hitch. Mount a square hitch up front and in the back so the plugs would have two uses.

You can never have tooooo much power.
