Very Frustrating Stereo Problems
Anyone by ANY chance have the JVC Shelf stereo system Model HX-Z3, 460 Watts??? It has the Twin Hyper Power-Drive Subwoofers...
I bought this thing less than a year ago for $428. Not too cheap. And it'* pissing me off lately because when I put in a BRAND NEW CD, it will not acknowledge that it'* in there. It keeps on saying "NO DISC 1" or "NO DISC 2" depending what tray I put it in. There'* nothing wrong with the CD obviously. I can't believe this stereo is f***ing up already!!
Sometimes it does read the CD, and the display reads "1 0:00" like it'* on Track 1 and about to play, but I wait...and wait....and wait, and it DOESN'T PLAY!! WTF!!!! Brand new stereo and it'* pissing me off. Should I just try cleaning the lens?? Sorry a lot of this was just venting but it'* so frustrating. I want to listen to my new CD dammit!!!

We do have a nice classic yet stylish stereo receiever and amplifier plus a 5 disc carousel that I was going to use when I move out. But I bought a Yamaha DVX-S60 HTIB. Now I intend to use the classic Yamaha in the upper level bedroom...
As to your problem, does the disc have any special interactive computer software that the CD player on your system may not be reading right??

I don't know...but it'* the second disc of the new Outkast CD. The first one is reading fine...no problems at all. I put in the second one, and NOTHING happens. PITA to say the least. I'll try cleaning the lens with those discs you use to do that, but other than that I want my $$ back or an exchange if it'* fuct.

Ok, now the CD I just had in was in tray 2, so I opened tray 2 and put in the disc that wasn't working. Now it'* playing fine, but it'* ONLY because it is in a tray that just had a working CD in. I know this becasue my Evanescence CD was the same way. It didn't read at all sometimes, if I put it in like this, it would work. It'* still a PITA. Something'* still not right. I'm going to ask Sears if I can exchange it or something or get it fixed somehow. DAMN I should have gotten that insurance on it. I never thought something would happen, especially this early.
