Got a good boss. Proud to say he'* a friend. He'* largely uninvolved in what we do (he manages 2 other remote areas of the facility also) and trusts us to keep the boat floating on our end.
In fact, I only see him once or twice a week. Usually at lunch when I'm pounding down mixed drinks at the bar.

You guys are lucky!! My boss renegged (sp?) on a deal he made with us for bonuses and is now saying he "meant" to say something else. The office manager typed up what he said at the meeting word for word and gave each of us a copy (that he never corrected) so that is what we've been going by. We had a big blow up and called him a liar Friday. I hate fricken' liars!!!! I guess we won't be worrying about selling anything or winning him any more trips.

Better a liar than a dumbass. My boss went to college to grow corn, what the hell is he doing managing a truck fleet? Call him for an emergency on a weekend, he shunts you off to the van fleet manager, cause his a$$ is in the middle of a freakin field on his tractor.
