Actually I OWN that name & have it registered as my company! My company IS: Bonneville Attitude.Com I also have logos designed around that name too. Just thought I would warn you first. So I suggest you pick another logo & name for your sticker idea or face copyright law infringement.

Your name is only protected in Canada. You would have to register it in the US to protect it as well and with each country you feel there is a threat. I could register Bonneville Attitude tomorrow here in the US since Canada/US law does not cross over into each other. Each country is reponsible for each copyright laws and such.

Thnx Hector, I just found that out too. You would think with all this "Free Trade" deals out there some laws would be the same on both sides of the border. Actually I found out that my business name is only mine in the province of Alberta! Even a different province can have the same business name (even if incorperated too). In actuallality, I would have to register my business name in every province & state that I don't want anybody else to use it in. :( I guess I should have look more into my legal rights before posting what I did.

I would too if I spent time and money to get a company started and someone came along and said , ( I like the name. I'm going to use it! ), and the fact that it is a bonne owner that is getting the business going and another Bonne owner was going to use the name to make a logo for himself without asking if it was fine with him??? I realise that Deathrat is only protected in Canada, but it'* just out of curtosy.

Hey guys I didn't want to start out any problems, simply I wanted to do something for everyone and I placed it out, no harm done, no stepping on anyone and specially not stealling, simply it was an idea and no more than that....last thing I wanted was world war IV bonny style....lets keep it for the ricers....
