Mmkay, so the chair hasn't arrived yet. It'* on backorder. Late last week I got an email that they would cancel the order for the chair unless I ask for an extension. Like hell are they gonna cancel the free portion of the order, that'* part of the reason I bought a TV from them. So I called and got the extension they said would last for a month before they try to cancel it again.
So yesterday, 3 business days later, I got a voicemail that my TV order would ship today. Odd, but my phone doesn't say I missed a call, so I thought maybe my voicemail hiccupped and recycled the message I got before when they did deliver the TV. But today, I get a call from the Best Buy delivery guys that they are having trouble finding my place.
I asked what they were delivering and they said an HP television. Then I told them I would be unavailable to receive it till next week. Hung up and thought about it and thought maybe they have the chair, but the TV is the first thing on the list so that is what they thought they had. I get back to the hotel and check my email and lo and behold I have an email saying my chair has shipped, but with UPS and has a tracking number and my card has been charged for the order. The number isn't showing up on UPS tracking yet, so we'll see what that says. AND, it says my HP TV is scheduled for delivery for Jan 11th. I called and got my card balance and it is what it should be.
So, long story short:
Best Buy tried to deliver another TV
UPS has my chair
My card has not been charged for another TV
What are the chances I get a TV if I keep my mouth shut?
