Default Advance gift cards

Santa must have heard about my creaky suspension, because he left me a couple of Advance gift cards that'll get me over halfway to a new air-bag suspension.

Now, you can take 20% off any online order through December 26 with promo code "SANTA." That took off almost $100 from my struts and accessories.

Unfortunately, you cannot use gift cards online.

So my options now are to use the cards in-store and pay an extra $90, or to pay the lower price entirely out-of-pocket. Or, I can mail them back to Advance headquarters and they'll issue a cash equivalent, probably long after the promotion ends.

I'd say use the gift cards for other things. you will be using it. Just pay for the suspension out of pocket

X2 I'd save the gift cards for oil changes and other things you'll end up picking up instore anyways.

Something to keep in mind is just about every week they have the 20% of promo in one for or another for the online purchasing. Also, you can print out the online pricing and take it to your local store and more than likely they'll match it for you.

2nd Jack'* thoughts. The store can give you 20% off and a printout of the online ad will help.

It'* still worth a shot. As long as you're not a dick about it 9 out of 10 times it works. Hell I do it other stores besides Adavance too, Best Buy has something listed cheaper for the buy it online I'll get a manager and say I'd be happy to give his store my money if he gives me the online price.

I'm not on a first name basis with every counter jockey at my local Advance but a couple of them ring me up at 15-20% off on a frequent basis without me even saying anything. Off course between our 5 vehicles and friends and family vehicles I am in there alot.
