$2k seems VERY steep to me. I'd say its worth less than half that...but thats my opinion. You should be able to get a fairly nice V6, fastback, 5 speed for $2500 or so.

Anyways..
Silly burst into fire comments aside.. (It'* 20 yrs old.. if it was gonna it would have..)
2k is a little steep for a 4 cyl duke/notchie.. Unless it'* in flawless shape.. patched holes in the trunk from the spoiler means at least that body part has been replaced .. so possible body damage at a previous point.
The low miles do give it some value.. but without pics hard to say.
Give you and idea.. Here'* a similar car for only $1200 - No pics on yours so can't say for sure.

And yes they are cheap.. Thats half the fun.. can get a a good frame and body.. and then find a Bonnie to harvest for a nice motor upgrade.

I had a new '84 Fiero. A fun car to drive in the summer... damn near killed me in the winter. Big tires, short wheelbase, all the weight in the rear... never got stuck but sure had it'* own opinion about where it was gonna' go at times. On a two lane highway I came over a hill, hit a patch of ice and fought the wheel like crazy to keep away from an oncoming truck. Drove it back to Madison and traded in for a Olds Trofeo!
So, it is a neat looking car and fun to drive... but if you gonna' worry 'bout ice n' fire... I'd concentrate on the ice
