Well, as others have pointed out, there are some discrepancies with their "facts" :

-The government IS getting rid of the tax loophole
-H2s ARE capable off-roaders. At least according to Car & Driver and their ilk, anyway
-Platform sharing is GOOD, as long as there is decent variation among cars built on the same platform (Good= Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35. Bad= Chevy Cavalier and Cadillac Cimarron. Oy vey )
-GM is just providing what many consumers want. Can't blame a car company for wanting to sell cars, can you? As long as they are reliable, good cars (trucks, whatever...), who cares if they're built mainly for yokels? (Case in point > Cadillac Escallade)

Mind you, this doesn't mean I LIKE the two trucks I just described, or any other I put in the "Good Cars, but for Yokels" catagory. It just means I don't hate them or dislike them

I love being neutral :P

Lol, I love reading the "submissions" section on the site. It'* like all the panzy liberal whiners of the world united in one place :P

This is my favorite quote: "This one was seen parked at a hotel near Concordia U. It'* parked near a flowerbed. Too bad that won't be there for later generations thanks to the behemoth."

Give me a friggin' break... Go back to Hippieland

I know, it truly is a travesty. Maybe that should be an aim of the BC - Get a die-cast car made of the Bonneville! Ah, but now I'm just being silly

The Hummer H2 isn't ON the Tahoe/Yukon Platform, it'* based off of it. Changes have been made.

Blood for oil? Eff that, Gas prices sure don't reflect an economic takeover. I hope all the "blood for oil" people open their eyes once this is all over.

Offroad? It does over 95% of what the original can do, and that'* a lot more then other SUVs. It gets better milage then the original ever will. It'* actually comfortable inside compared to the original. It takes MORE pollution to make an H2, then the H2 will make in all of it'* life, so maybe the treehuggers should worry about that, instead of making a scapegoat out of a big pricey SUV.

Should it be someone'* primary vehicle who lives in a suburb? No. But many people need a lot of space, and they're well off and don't want to run around in a suburban like everyone else. I think people who need 4wd more then most, or possibly live in a harder to get to area have to make no excuses. But if your hummer stay'* on the 'crete then it'* a poor buy.

In short Don't blame the car, it'* not the problem, the market is. People want bling, that means huge and pricey. They dont' give a **** what they're buying as long as they can show their money.
