Excellent Shot
I am damn proud of myself. Today, well yesterday I nailed a red squirril right in the center of its chest with my pellet rifle. It was sitting on a branch of a oak sitting about 40 yards or so from my bedroom window (where I was). I don't even have a scope. It wasa prolly just luck, but i'm still pleased.
Can't wait to take out my new Winchester to the shooting range.

I once saw a large crow land somewhere in the top a 50ft tree at the top of the hill in my parents' yard and disappear in the leaves. I was at the bottom of the hill. I was at minimum 50 yards away from the bird. I can't remember if it was a pellet or a BB (my pump action rifle uses both), but I aimed where I thought it landed, pulled the trigger, and appearently killed it instantly. It fell straight down and I never saw it flap or heard it squawk. It was a freak shot.
I also once shot the bottom of a plastic cup, the BB bounced back from ~30 feet and hit me on the left collar bone. Hurt like hell and left quite a welt.

The Missus would cheer me on if I'd cap all the squirrels that get into her garden and bird feeder...
My "dummest BB gun moment" was taking trget proactice at the primer end of a 38 bullet. Looking back, it'* a damned good thing I missed...
But, I'm a pretty good shot, now. I'm trying to talk my son into letting me hang on th hos AirSoft guns while he'* in bsic training. I'll learn them squirrels a thig or two thwn. Ands, I shouldn't have to worry about picking up the dead bodys.
