keepin my ride forever
Maybe its because its my first car or maybe its the smell of the cloth in the morning j/k don't worry, but I'm keeping this bonnie forever. At first I was just glad to have a car but I truly love my pontiac. I plan on modding and keeping this car running for as long as I can. Maybe after this car dies I'll get me a new bonneville(guess the year depends on when this one dies).

Ah well... For me, once the engine dies (because of a large nitrous hit on my part ) it will be rebuilt with custom parts of my choosing. I might go with either forged rods/pistons, or go all the way with Billet rods/pistons. Use a L67 crankshaft (forged) and then use the L36 heads for better flow and either go turbocharged with 20-30psi being stuff down there with some nitrous. Also want to build up a L67 and take it to an engine dyno to see how far it can go, no one has done that, I am guessing 600-700HP.
But I also have 2 402 Big Block Chevy'*. One is being built for a mild 500HP N/A and for 150-250 nitrous shots. The other one will be convertth either forged rods/pistons, or go all the way with Billet rods/pistons. It will be twin turbos with 150-200 nitrous shots. 800HP is the goal for the second one. Want to drop it into a 1970 Nova w/ a Tremec T-56 Tranny (6 speed used in Camaro'*).
Also going to grab a Cadillac 500 engine and stroke it out to 570 cubic inches, bigger than Pro Stock engines. Then twin turbo it for a little over 1000HP on pump gas hopefully. Then drop it into something small. I wanted to aim for a Datsun 210 or 510. It would be the stupid and I ed to 4 bolt main for when the first one blows up. Trying to convince my friend to give me his Caddy 500 engine for free . Still working on it though. Might just go pick one up from someone here locally for $100 bucks.
Those are my plans. And whatever else falls my way. Maybe do a Buick 455 in a Datsun or something small? Can pick one up running for like $300 around here. So plentiful. Put some nitrous and blow it up!
