Looking at starting up a website / forum
A friend and I are thinking about starting up an automotive forum for our area. We are basically looking for mostly somewhat local people that are in to cars in general. ANY cars, imports, trucks, 4X4s, muscle cars, mud toys etc...
We would be looking for anyone that is a true car guy / gearhead, no matter if their car is stock or highly modded.
What are the costs of running a website? I really like the format of this site and would like it to be set up somewhat like this site is.
any information to help out would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Ryan I think thats going to depend a lot on the amount of traffic... As well if you are going to have Banner ads and the like...
I'm sure there will be some really good suggestions in the short future

Proboards has been very dependable for my other side (auroraclubna.com), a URL was bought for us, but directs back to proboards.
From my recollection, the server has been down only once for less then 2 days and we've never paid a dime.
