I usually ask them what company they work for, what co. hired their company to do the calls, and how the hell they got my number, cuz I'm on the National Do-Not-Friggin'-Call List!!!

Generally I just ask them to not call again, but if they call again, I do report it.
Other than that, I'm pretty polite.

I answer "Pizza Hut, How may I help you" for every phone call. All my friends know this, so a lot of telemarketers hang up at that. If my mom picks up, she will be very polite, and say she is not interested.. however I would never do that. I try to screw with them as much as I can .

I'm usually very polite and tell them i'm not interested, but sometimes you get a few that don't get the hint. We have window places that call us all the time. Now i usually wait til they ask for someone by name put the phone on the table and go back to what i was doing, or this is a good one setup a date and time for the guy to come out and give an estimate then not be here when he comes. Now this is very drastic, but we've asked these 4 different window companies to take us off their call list and they haven't done it so .....Sucks to be them......

no employee at pizza hut can answer their phone that way.. trust me. they'd ge fired!
This is how it has to go:
"Thank you for calling the (city name) Pizza Hut, home of the new full house pizza, this is (your first name) speaking, will this be for carry out or delivery today?"

OK, so what about the people I despise even more than telemarketers? Them people at the mall that wanna squirt lotion on you or rub on you with them massage thingies?

They won't give up with a simple "No thanks". "WOuld you like to try ***" "Then can I ask you a question?" "It'll be just a second..." Makes me wsh thier next statement could be "Ouch, you broke my friggin nose"

I know they're just doing thier job, but Geeze!
