Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

How do I get this out?

Shouldnt break if you do it slow. I have installed many radios and most I had to pry upen the dash panel with a specual too much like a screwdriver but rounded on the end. Well I understand its easier said than done right. Good luck with the install and I hope you get it all figured out.

Thanks. I enjoy doing installs and have been thinking of picking up a few tools to help.
This may be a good excuse.

If all you need is power; why not save yourself the aggravation and grab those right at the fusebox? Thats where the radio gets them from anyways and its alot less work.

Tall, you probably should listen to Bandit on this one. From what he says, with experience, prying alone will be the wrong answer.

I had an 89 Celebrity with the 2.8L V6 up till 18months ago. I remember I pulled my cd deck out before I sold it but I can't remember how. I know I have Chiltons manual here for that car I will find the manual and look through it for you shortly!
