A nagging question
I posted this as a blog on 'space, and I thought I would share this with you guys too.
I'm annoyed. The reasons why are simple: I cannot for the life of me, come up with any good answers to a question that keeps bouncing around in my head. My head'* hurting from all that bouncing around up there, and no amount of alcohol is making it stop. (Nevermind the fact I don't drink, because if I DID drink, these questions would still remain. And now that I no longer make sense, I am closing this paranthetical.). And while I am pretty good at finding answers to seemingly complicated and common questions (like the meaning of life...that answer is "pie", by the way), this question...I *think* I have the answer to, but I want to share it with the general public before I fully accept it.
The question is (and I know I am going to hear it from someone in regards to this): Why do teenage girls (pre-18ers), feel the need to wear thongs?? To me, it'* just plain crazy!! WHY??? I see it all the time!! And no, I don't go looking...I don't have to. Don't believe me? Go to Wal-Mart, and take a good look at that section. And the mall....oh, don't get me started on that one. Anyways, to me, teenagers have one purpose in life...and that is school. And remember that old school Will Smith song "Parents Just Don't Understand"? He summed it up rather well..."You go to school to learn, not for a fashion show". I asked, and argued this question, to Karen and her daughter. Neither one could give me a straight answer, so I combined the answers I got, and came up with this gem:
Psychological warfare on teen guys. Now then, I will say this: I do know what the original purpose the thong is supposed to serve, and it does work if the pants material is something other than denim. But what do most young ladies wear nowadays? DENIM. I dunno about you ladies, but us guys can wear ANYTHING under denim and nobody would know. Well, that is, if they are worn right. That being said, ANY guy can say with truth and honesty what the secondary purpose thongs serve: to feel, and look, sexy. SO why, do you young ladies feel the need to look and feel sexy in school?? PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE. It has been historically proven that females are more cunning, and posess higher tactical attributes than males. In short, women are thinkers...men are doers. Females are also smarter, in general. Females know males, especially young ones, have short attention spans. See where I am going with this? If not, check out this scenerio: a cutie, wearing hip-huggers and some string, sits down at her desk, which happens to be in front of a guys desk. I don't think the chair designs have changed that much since I have been out of school, so I can imagine what this poor unfortunate kid sees, and pays more attention to, when she sits. In turn, his mind wanders. And strays away from the lessons the teacher is trying to convery to ALL her students. But for some reason, the lessons are ignored by the male population, but the females take it all in And in the end, they get the better grades.
There you have it. This may be controversial to some, to others a good laugh. But I speaketh the truth.

Works for me. I can't think of a better answer. You should have proposed that question to eh candidates when they were answering questions asked on youtube.

I'm glad to see my logic isn't flawed.
Funny thing is, back when I went to school, "prints" were the weapons of choice. Or nothing at all. Then again, where I come from, Farmer Jones' heiffers looked good compared to about half the female population. Pickin'* were so slim I dated girls from other schools.
