Honest opinions?

I'm no pro, but a friend of mine had no website for his store. I figured I had the space and bandwidth, and bought the domain. Just a favor for a friend, and still a bit of work to do, but what are your thoughts so far?

The top frame will disappear when I get the 'official' graphic logo. It'll become the top graphic on each page, with no top frame.
Left Contents frame will remain.
FYI, this is one of the WCBF sponsors. They tinted my windows on the SLE for me.

No, that was a 38 beer job. It included alot of picture taking, scanning, interviewing, notes, etc.
These sites were 3 beer jobs each:
www.zillamotorsports.com (custom logo in the works)
www.zillamotorsports.com/wcbf07

Overall, very professional looking! Only thing though, can you use that mapquest picture on the site? I don't know about copyrights and all, but I just wanted to throw it out there.

In all honesty, I think the main frame is excellent, but the left frame needs a bit of work. I'm not quite digging the contrasting colors that much. I'd try for maybe adapting a LIGHT theme to the button layout, and maybe some flash animation, if possible, just try to tie the classic look of the main frame in with the left frame
And, yes, I believe you need to refer to the Expedia site if you're gonna post their pic

Kill the frames, they only cause issues. Start up with a dynamic inset with PHP or something similar to my page. Then you can modify the menu, and just add new inset pages, keeping a clean look etc.

Jason, I'd usually recommend that, but since this is out of friendship and his time is limited, I think it'* best if he keeps things simple.
