So I'm sure some of you saw this thread:
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=28081
Well, I bid on the car and my high bid was $4500, but didn't meet the reserve, and I was outbid and it ended up at $4,995. Well, the seller of the item sent me a second chance offer, and I can buy the car for $4500. (apparently the high bidder backed out or something) Now, I know the car is well worth the money, and it is a very nice car that I would definately not mind having. However, I was hoping to get something RWD in the spring/summer sometime. But, for this price, I think its worth not having the RWD.
The question I ask you guys is, if you were in my position, would you buy the car? I don't have that much cash obviously so my parents would have to loan me the money and I would have to pay them back for it. But, put yourself in my position, your 17, you have about $500 to put towards the car, but have a tax return coming, and can sell the winter beater for about $500, and you only make about $250-300 a month, but have no other expenses. What would you do?

Its such a good deal I really don't want to pass it up. I'm pretty sure my parents will go for it. Afterall, they loaned my sister $4800 for a '96 Base Model Beretta when she was 16 (only 2 years ago)...what a rip off that car was. And a Supercharged LSS is what I wanted to be my first car. When I first found out they existed when I was 14, I was in love. I really want one of these things!

If you can come up with the cash, I'd say go for it! As long as it makes you happy.
That'* why I sold the Bonnie for the GTP. I didn't need it, but I wanted something that will make me happy.

Something to be said for big cars huh??
My 88 was Medium Garnet Red too My brother and friends laughed at me when I bought it, saying that I was too young (23) to drive a grandma car. I sure was comfortable on those long drive though, as opposed to all those Camaros and Jeeps they drove LOL.
