Default High 90'* Model Honda Civic vs. me and my BonnevilleSE

In the fall of 2002, I was on my way home from a local football game when I stopped at a very long red light. Then a Civic pulled up next to me in the opposite lane and started staring and disrespecting me because I just had a spoiler put on and I had decals on my door so apparently they thought it was stupid and a piece of ****. Fortunately I wasn't really looking at them, just caught them on the corner of my eye because there were about 4 people in the car. Now I don't know what was going through the driver'* mind because he was pretty confident he would whoop my *** because he has a civic and I have a bonne. Now if I am not mistaken, civics have only 2.something liter engines while my bonneville has a balls to the wall 3.8 liter v6. But none the less, the light turned green and I blew his doors off. Then I came up to another red light and he tried to get the jump on me but with my 5 second 0-60 time, to say the least he failed and I whooped his *** again. Unbelievably in my one year of having my bonne, that is the only civic I have raced, but it is my most memorable kill because I hate imports and everyone who has one is unoriginal and dull. Remember, just because u have an import doesn't mean u can beat everyone, and when u line up with a bonne, whether it be mine or a ssei supercharged, don't be so cocky, cause there is a good chance your gonna get your *** whooped.

Bonnies are nice cars but they arent the end all be all of racing bullets. I'm not sure I would be so cocky as to think I could take any import...some of those can be dirty quick if done right...as for your 5 second 0-60 you may want to give some of our N/A brethren some tips....

Basically Man I have a Custom Air Intake, Flowtech Exhaust, Denso Iridium Spark Plugs and Ultra Spark Plug Wires, basically the engine is so well maintained that it'* just balls to the wall power and it is just a very quick, very beasty car and I love her to death and I treat her like she is supposed to be treated, very well. I vacumm her and wash her every other day cause I hate dirt and grime on my car. Bonnevilles are not made to be dirty.

Well here is the thing man. I am not trying to be cocky, just confident. Yes I am sure there are alot of imports that could beat me, but that isn't the point. The point is I get **** everyday for making my bonne look like what it does now and I get so disrespected for it and that is why I hate imports and am confident I could take quite a few of them. Now I do know that people have some imports that are hella quick, and that is cool. But if u think u can beat them, you can. It'* all abot confidence. But sometimes your confidence can get the best of you. Now I have won alot of races, and only lost a few, but I have never lost to any import I have raced and I have raced quite a few. Anyway, thanks for straightening me out man. Rock on.

Unfortunately I am currently at a location where my pics aren't on the computer I am using. When I return home, I will post some pics up.

I can almost certainly guarantee you that you aren't even running 7 seconds 0-60. My 93 stock from the factory supposedly does it around 8-9, and my intake manifold is tuned better from the factory.

Yeah man, your probably right. I do know I am running about 7 seconds, maybe 8, which is good for my model. I do also know that my car is quick, and has more low end torque then high end torque, so it is quick off the line, but once u get about 75 80 miles an hour, then it isn't as effective as u were when your starting off at zero. Sorry about tat man, nice car by the way.
