What should I do???
I went to the dealership on a hunch...and to my surprise i found a Bonneville for sale. It'* gorgeous, and a 40th Anniversary with the floor mats and CD player, leather, HUD, power seats (not the 12 way in the middle) and has no rust..and only $8900 (or $7200 if I don't trade mine for it).
The only downside is it'* only an SSE..which is still good in my book, but I have an SSE now and want a SC. Plus it'* a series 2 NA obviously which means upper intake could be a problem in the future, or is a problem now. It has 75,000 miles which is around the time when it could be a problem too. I'd hate to get it and be stuck with a fuct up engine if the intake fails.
I'd like to keep mine too if that was possible, considering my time, money, and sweat I put into it.
This one has more power that'* for sure...but should I wait longer for an SSEi to come along (whenever that may be) or get this and hope to GOD the upper intake doesn't fail.
I know this isn't going to get the response as Jim'* SSEi vs. Aurora, but I'm interested just to get some opinions.
Thanks.

I say wait for what you really want...they're getting less expensive, not more, so unless you are in a big rush hold out for your heart'* desire. Why compromise?
Oh, and as for your current ride, maybe you can pull what we did and get the dealership to tell you yours is worthless and the trade-in value is just a way of bringing down the price (maybe because of your mods...get 'em to say that no one will want to buy it :P ) ...then you rope 'em into giving you the cash while you keep the car.

Do you want the SSEi for the power or because it says SSEi on the side? If it becuase of the engine you may wnat to consider getting the SSE and get a SSEi engine and put it in there. Then you can have the best of both worlds. My friends has a GP. When she got the oil changed the store drained the oil but forgot to put more back in. Needless to say she had to purchase a new engine So, instead of getting the GP GT she got a GP GTP engine.

If you don't mind payin for premium gas and higher insurance.. I say wait.. nothin is more of a kick in the teeth then a few months later seeing a SSEI for cheaper or the same price. 40th edition is nice.. but personal preference is the emblem is the only thing nice in my point of view. If someone is lookin at your floormat.. they're probably pukin or a rollin one

Well, I like the "i" and I know you have been shooting for one really bad. You've managed to stick it out this time. I guess I don't want to put my foot in my mouth here, but I was waiting for the "i" the only thing is this Rora jumped up and bit me, but thats another story.
Runner is good, does you well, enjoy it for a bit more, save the money and cash in on the "i"
