Default he'* back.. this time im going to jail....he broke into my c

i really cant help it..........

as alot of you'* no last summer my 88 sse was broken into and i was robbed by the city'* biggest car theif and im 100% positive as several people found him to be selling my stuff and bragging about it...

anyway this guy has been spotted by my wife driving by my new house on a purple sport bike starring at my 88 sse which is parked 15 feet away from my house in a parking lot..
and just today i seen him again face to face for the third time but this time he was on a 4 wheeler and he rode up my back alley and pulled into the parkinglot starring at my car ( the 88 sse ) and then he made a u turn and went back down the same alley but this time i came out the house because i saw him from the window and i went into the back yard and raced to open the lock on the gate but he looked at me and i caught eye to eye contact with him and then he just gunned it with a wheelie down my alley on the side of my house and then had the NERVE to drive by my house again 2 hours later with his 97 mercedes that he bought with all the money from the cars and car audio he stole...

he has been arrested several times but no charges has ever stuck beside one when he was caught red handed driving a stolen suv.... he is a older guy about 35 ish or so...

i am getting very upset that he keeps driving past my house starring at my cars and its really taunting me that he throws a smile at me when he drives bye.....

i am going to be leaving ( brooklyn ) outside in the yard as he always barks when someone is by my garage or the car in the parking lot.. he knows my cars as he always drives in them with me..

but my garage is secured extremely well with audio, video, and a drive way alert system that beeps very very LOUD in my bedroom when the beam in my garage is broken.. something like the thing that goes off when you enter a candy store.

but its him that i dont know what he is upto by always passing by lately and staring at my cars and house...

what should i do.............

Let me just say that I have a firm belief in getting the message across to any potential burglars that I am not about to stand by idly while they have a free roam through my stuff...

For this reason, I keep a combat shotgun loaded with 00 Buck by the bedside. The one time I DID have someone in my garage, the sound of the slide loading a round in the chamber was enough to send him running for his life.

Call me paranoid, call me a redneck, but I feel a lot better knowing it'* there.

i was honestly thinking of going and getting my gun permit to keep a registered gun im ny new home...i dont want to kill him or anybody but too definetly give him the scare of a lifetime with a double barrel 16 ga with some buck shots starring him in the face if i was to catch this creep on my private property. aww man that would be such a wonderfull feeling to keep him there kissing the hood of my car untill the cops get there...

You're not making any brownie points here. :(

Sadly, there is not much you can do until after the fact. Even then, the way the laws are, he is inocent until PROVEN guilty. I suspect there are no laws that prohibit him from driving, cycling, walking or even skateboarding past your place whenever he wants to.

88, I have some advice for you.

Act WITHIN the law, or you'll do more jail time than him.

MOVE. If your life has this much drama due to crime, you're living in the wrong place.

IT'* JUST A CAR. It'* not worth jail time or the legal trouble.

You'll get alot further in life if you deal with your problems with a little maturity. It might not be too late.

i know its just a car but im supposed to just pack up and move and sell my new 3 month old house i just bought because of some car thief...? dont get me wrong i understand your point 110% but there is a time when people have to stand up for them self'* and whats there'*.. am i wrong..

my house and my car has been broken into once each already.. it happens no matter where you live.. there will be criminals...

instead of moving i feel we should move them out the neighborhood..

in my city alone 64 cameras were installed this year so far on street corners and alley ways....

and i have been speaking to alot of my young neighbors and we are trying to get a neighborhood watch together...

Perhaps I should expand on my earlier reply.

It'* best to know the laws of your state regarding home defense. In my state, we have a "castle doctrine" in place, meaning that if a home owner is placed in the situation where his home is being invaded, his/her "duty to retreat" (meaning to attempt to avoid a confrontation) is removed, thereby the homeowner has the full right to stand their ground and use whatever force is NECESSARY to protect his home, family, or person. Basically as soon as the intruder knowingly and willfully steps onto the property with intent to do crime, the castle doctrine is applicable.

Having said that, it would be best for you to check your state'* laws regarding home defense...before you get yourself into a lot of trouble!
