Default 92 Regal GS....no spark. Ideas?

Hey guys....

A guy in the paper has a Buick GS for sale for $500. I talked to him and he said that it'* not getting any spark. He doesn't sound too sharp, but he said that he replaced the PCM, plugs and wires. He said that there'* no power at the coil packs. He claims that it needs a new wiring harness. I just doubt it that the whole wiring harness is fried.

He described the car as very clean, very little rust and only 104K. He said he'd let the car go dirt cheap. Would have to tow it home (np..have a car dolly!).

Wondering what you guys think the issue is? 104K miles for a few hundy is irresistable! Plus, I've always liked the GS'. Any thoughts on what'* causing the no-spark issue?

Flint Journal.

Sorry....it'* a 92. I'm seriously considering it. But, not sure what to be looking for to fix it. I'm thinking it'* the coil packs or the module under the coil pack (not sure of the name). Someone'* gotta have some ideas!!

Ignition module comes to mind. Would that make it not start at all?

Would the ignition module and coil packs out of 99 work on that car? I can just swap them for testing purposes.

Also, where is the crank position sensor located on that engine? What'* involved in changing it?

I'll get the codes too. The crank position sensor should throw a code...
