maybe the owner just wants to get rid of the thing? never know i guess. i figured they were lighter....i found some numbers for a 91 GP STE...which im assuming still carries the 3.1...

0-60 in 8.7 and the 1/4 mile in 16.5...thats from car-stats.com

and the numbers on a 93 Bonneville SSE are 0-60 in 8.6 and 1/4 mile in 16.5.....

so you may not notice much of a difference...i thought you would, maybe the STE is a little more tweaked than your average GP? i dunno

200lbs is a BIG difference in weight, I get one of my bigger buddies in my car and it'* waaaay slower, i can't go as fast into turns, braking takes longer... but with just my 120lb self, anything is fast.

Hehe, yea, your friend is pretty big... hey, wait a second, I'm around 200... Hey! LOL...

Anyway, anybody else have any comments? I'm hoping for a post from jr or one of the other admins, they always blow me out with all that they know =) Consider this a cleverly disguised /bump...

well you wanted an admin...but you got me instead just clarifying....the 400 lbs in the trunk was not a person, but rather 10 40lb bags of mulch the lid barely closed but i got it in there...i was running errands for gramma.

Back when I was driving my 1992 SE a friend had a 1989-1/2 GP Turbo coupe. It had about the same out-put as a 3.4, but was slightly quicker. Whenever we'd race I would always beat him up to about 60 and anything over than and he'd slowly gain back. Get a 1993 GP SE coupe with a 3.1 and swap 3100 heads onto it for some better air flow. With the 3100 heads, a CAI, and some decent mufflers (not the ricer type) you'll be running around 200 HP. The 3100 heads can be gotten for under $150 per pair from salvage yards on www.car-part.com, and while they are off take the dremel to them if you know how to do some porting (manifolds too).

Default Eh...

Really don't want to do any modding, I just want a car that'* reliable, reasonably powerful, and that'* easy on the eyes Also, just for ***** and giggles, I thought I'd stick the URL of the Auto Trader ad of the car I was thinking of looking at. Weird too, because before I saw this ad I was thinking of what I'd want in my ideal car, and this carpretty much matches the exterior color, year and interior color I was thinking I wanted. I'll have to call him soon and set up an inspection and test drive by my mechanic and dad. Got a busy school schedule, though... Hopefully, it'* meant to be, and she soon ends up mine Anyway, here'* the link, and keep the comments coming
