Holy **** man.... sorry to see that happen? I hope you do find and beat the **** out of the petty thugs that did that to your ride....

Did you have any type of alarm on the car besides factory?
Any extra blinking LEDs?

Every car in the back lot where I used to work was broken into except mine. Even when I had the factory alarm, I put a "LED Scanner" on my rearview, and an extra LED on the dash to make it look like... "don't touch me".

How far do you work from your car? You could get a 2way communication system like the CompuStar that I have that will work upto 2kms. It can let you know anything, even if someone looks at your car the wrong way j/k

Welcome to the club Gordy! Happened to me about 3 times. My white car don't have anything in it and not in a hurry to get it either until I move from my neighborhood!

I think the ONLY reason mine hasn't been broken into is the fact that I don't have a CD deck or system. It'* empty inside. It still could get broken into without that, but I'm lucky it hasn't happened.

Sorry to hear that Gordy, hope you get your lost value out of it. I hope you do find out who did that...maybe have someone check cameras for suspicious ppl...and kick the a$$ of him!! I would.

That'* terrible...I hope they are caught at least. Do the security cameras record or are they just closed circuit? If they record to a tape, maybe they can be seen leaving the garage with your stuff.

That really sucks. Doesn't matter how you install it if they really want it they will cause alot of damadge to get it. the best thing to do it hide as much as possible. except for things that need to cool off.

If it only cost you less that 900$ for the stereo in the first place it couldn't have been that awesome, but now it will be, lmao.

Don't hold your breath on them paying for the install. I would just be glad you still have your g-tech and ipaq.

$900 isn't an awesome stereo!?!?! I got a new JBL amp for $80 from crutchfield, a polk audio subwoofer from circuit city they found in the warehouse without a box for $110 with the full warranty, and a box from best buy for $50. I did the wiring myself and i'm very happy with it, haven't had one problem. This is my old car i'm talking about btw. If you shop around and pick things up when you can, you can have one HELLA GOOD system for $900. Heck you don't even need subs for a good system, a 4 way amp and speakers are killer.... 6x9'* and components can produce huge bass when amped...

That just pisses me off when people break into cars.

I share your anger.

I can assure everyone that my two cheap subs, 10 year old rf amp and new deck could make enough good bass to shake cars thourouly 3 rows in front of me.
