How is that gonna prevent you from having to buy a PCM??? The PCM isn't going to cost that much anyways, the core charge is refundable so it will actually end up being less than $300 in the end, but yes up front its $400. Either that or you send your PCM to them (whoever you are having it programmed by) and wait for it to come back and don't have a car for a few days, OR you drive to them and have them program it right there, but I think the closest DHP guy to you is in IL, however I don't know exactly where, and I don't believe any INTENSE guys are closer, so thats probably not an option.

However, I would like to have an L67 LSS, if I felt I could afford it I'd do it, I just don't feel comfortable stretching my finances that close.

Lakeville -if you need a core I have one from a 1997 Bonneville you can have for $35 shipped to your door.
Or you can meet me next week when I have to drive to Ultimate Electronics in Maple Grove to get my replacement sub. I won't be going any further into the TC'* as it is 100 miles one way to Maple Grove.

I know it wouldn't make a difference dbtk2 I was just a little drunk. Sorry.

As for the PCM i'm know confused. I thought they make you a whole new PCM for $400. To get you're $125 back I thought i'd have to give them my old PCM for them to flash for someone else. Now it sounds like I pay the $400 then ship them my PCM, have them flash it and send it back to me and give me back my $125.

In either case Martin you may have a deal since the LSS needs to be operating at all times.

Before we make a deal you should contact DHP and verify that they can tune a PCM from a 1997 Bonneville for your LSS -I know Intense can use a Bonneville L36 PCM and program it to a Bonneville L67 PCM, but it'd be best to know for sure before you waste $35.
Get ahold of DHP and let me know the answer and maybe we can meet up this coming Saturday.
