I'm done (car rant)
I'm done. I'm done with american cars. I've given them a chance, and they've let me down. My Impala has 75 THOUSAND MILES ON IT and the tranny is dying on me. The fluid is burnt and there were chunks in the fluid. I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't have the money to replace it, and I don't have a way to take it back. I don't know... I'm really out of ideas. This week has been absolutely horrible to me. I don't want to be a big pity party, so I'm not gonna go on further. I feel like just giving up. Honda dealership, here I come

Even Hondas have issues. Our 2004 Civic has a perpetual rear main seal leak. Been fixed twice by the dealership now. They still can't nail it down.
Why not take your car back to the dealer you bought it from? It'* been less than 30 days.

Can I really do that? Is that a law, or is it just for dealerships that honor it? If so, I'm taking it back to the dealer tomorrow

Put your chin up, have some confidence, be honest, yet firm with them. Don't get into a yelling match because that turns sour real fast.
Talk to them with respect and I'll bet your voice will be heard.

As I told you on AIM. The pressure control solenoid is a KNOWN failure in the 4T65-E. The dealer should have replaced it or at least recommended replacement. This is in NO way the "American car companies" fault in general, it was a flaw. Flaws DO happen on all cars, whether Japanese, American, Korean, Russian, German, whatever. ONE little trans problem should not turn you off to American cars in general, if so it'* your choice, not ours.

Thanks guys. What do you think I should do? Bite the bullet and try to fund the replacement, or return it to get another 7 year old car that might do the same thing? Besides the tranny, I love this car

Did a quick thread search, but couldn't find the answer: where did you buy this car from?
