Digital Camera under $150?
Hey guys, I'm looking to get a digital camera for relatively cheap. I don't need something with lots of features or anything. I'm living on my own for the first time this summer while I'm on an internship and I want to stay in touch with people by sharing what'* going on with me. I know there'* cameras out there in this price range but do any of you have any suggestions? Thanks a lot!
Here'* one possibility: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S40

I'm not an expert on digi-cams but learned one thing with 3 cams in drawer I dont use any more. If you can wait till ya get just a little more money, it will pay off. You want at least 5-6 megapixels to get a 'close' to 35mm quality. And After seeing the Quality of WillWren'* 8 meg camera in his pic post'* I wished I waited another month and saved up the price difference.

Megapixels aren't a selling point for me. It'* image quality. For 150, you won't get very detailed or sharp photos. You would probably be dissapointed with what you find.
Your best bet on a budget would be to check out eBay for used cameras.

I ended up with a little Kodak Easyshare 3.2 megapixel i believe it is?
It does fine for just taking pics to share with friends and stuff, it isnt the higest quality, but it takes decent pics, much better than cheap 35mm cameras and you have the ability to share your phots.

all those pics were taken with my camera, which i bought for right at 100 dollars last year about this time, i also got a 128mb card to go with it.

I have the Canon Rebel XT...goes for around $850. :?
Don't let the megapixels get you, the quality of the image is almost directly correlated with the price...don't spend any extra on megapixels, just go for image quality and the lens size it may come with.
