Default Argh..It'* been one of those days.

Little rant time. I normally have a high threshold of pain with al thing mechanical, but today pegged the meter.

My plan for the evening was to come home and do an oil change on the Suzuki..wow those miles added up quick...I guess I was having too much fun to notice. Following that, I thought I'd give the Bonneville a much needed oil change too.

I get home and there'* this funny smell in the garage. Kim took off for Sarasota on business and left a huge pile of junk on the garage floor (boxes of misc trash bound for a garage sale fund raiser for the local nursing organization.) The smell seemed to be eminating from the pile....WTF??? The smell is familiar but I can't quite place it. I start digging, trying to find out what died in the pile. The boxes of placemats and table cloths are comming up soaked in something that smells like gasoline.

Oh **&T! In their haste to dump this trash on the garage floor, she or one of her friends knocked over the gallon paint can of carb cleaner. ARRRRRRRRGH!!! I guess it finally got hot enough out in the garage today to pop the lid on the can and dump it all over the place. The whole garage is smelling like a toxic landfill and I just spent an hour sopping up the mess.

Great, I just wanna go home now...oh wait, I AM home...maybe I should just go back to work, at least there'* less to do there.

Maybe next time. She keeps bugging me to go on these little trips. She'* working with a company over there that makes Human Patient Simulators for colleges. Heck, even NASA bought one to teach first aid in zero G, using the vomit comet to provide the near zero g enviroment.

My blood pressure is returning to normal levels...I even got the oil changed on the Suzuki. Got too dark to go climb under the Bonnie...Another project differed till tomorrow. :(
