its a Coolant Temperature Sensor, and i need to know if its safe to drive it? i am going to buy one but its 50 bucks and takes 5 days to get... its on a 1993 mazda mx-6 4cyl 2.0 i have to drive my f-150 :( while she drives my bonny. so guys any hints? i can seal the hole with the broken peice. all the broke is the plastic peice. the brass is all there still. please help!!!!!!
if just the plastic broke it should be ok seal wise.
is it the actual temp sensor that goes to the dash? if so then it would be ok to drive it but just replacing the radiator idk if i would new parts might not work very well and you might over heat and not know it.
the link for 30 is the wrong part. it looks the same. the connector is diffrent i wouldnt go on at all.the one for 50 is the on i need ofcourse cant be the cheaper one i cant plug it back in at all. it crumbled away. its not the temp gauge its coolant gauge, i can seal it no problem, i just dont know what it does, and if its ok to drive
