Grrrr... (bank related) And Getting a little Friend Tonight.
I come home from Arkansas. Look in the mail and see 2 overdraft notices. I'm like "Oh F*ck." From Sept.11 and the 12th. I go to pay it and it all comes to $131.49 Just for 2 overdrafts? Then I see that it was 3 and the 5 dollar a day fee for a negative balance. I'm furious right now that money went to nothing. Less stuff for the meet then :( oh well... Shows to know MAKE SURE what your account has. Or you'll regret it like I am.
On the brighter side I'll be getting a kitten from a co-worker tonight. a black male cat. Hes lazy for a 2 month old. And would make a good pet for me. Got all the paraphanalia for him.
Will have pics later.
Later all.

Look into getting overdraft protection.
Sometime a talk witht he bank manager will get those fees erased. It doesn't seem fair to be charged overdraft/insufficient funds because of a FEE.

Believe me, we've all been there (or at least I have). Overdrafts suck, but that'* why you need to keep a ledger and check your account balance twice a week. Just a little advice

That was the worst part of when I had direct deposit. It was a pain keeping track of how often I used my debit card. Now that I don't have DD anymore, it'* not too bad. I only deposit enough ot pay the bills for that week, plus a little ($5 -$10) extra. DO you have the ability to check your balance online? I compare my check book with the bank a few times a week just to make sure it seems right. Of course, not everything shows up right away on line, but if you keep good records you'll know what hasn't cleared yet. I actually just did this a few minutes ago.

I check my balance online but I forgot a security question and locked my online account.
I'm on hold with the bank as I speak.
