I need to make a slot for coins in a tin can. What type of Dremel bit do I need? I have a router attachemnt for the tool.

Links to the bit type would be helpful.

I have a cutoff wheel bit for mine that would work good, they have them at Wallyworld with a 5 pack of little carborundum discs that come with it.

I would go with a cut off wheel. Then follow with a sanding drum to take the roughness off the outside and inside.

it also depends which side of the can we are talking here...

In the top of the can. I have lots of cut off wheels and a nice set of small hobby files.

Thanks for the help!.
