I'm up, I'm up. Thank god the wife saved me some coffee. Class ran late last night because cat5 rollover cable I built wasn't reading correctly on the tester. But I verified that I did in fact build the cable right, and the cable worked. So either the tester is broken or I've gone insane. So I rolled in about 10:30 last night and did the internet thing before I fell asleep.

Amen to that stealth, and in the words of the black eyed peas "Tonight'* going to be a good, good night!"
I've made so many patch cables that I can test them with my eye :P I've got T-568A and B memorized and haven't screwed up an end (That I remember) in a couple years. I thought I did once a couple weeks ago, and a couple months before that. Then I realized that the walls were previously wired to neither standard even though the terminals they used had A and B clearly labeled on them. They decided to make up their own standard apparently.
