Well, I finally built my Core 2 duo sytem.
Specs:
C2D 6700 processor
1G DDR2 PC6400
250G SATA II
Sony DVD burner

Looking at video and sound cards next

Any suggestions on vid/sound cards?

Nice monitor. I have a 19" widescreen myself.

I have that lamp one hour south of you.

I use it on my workbench.....errrr.......dining room table to helm me see when I modify car parts.

if you can swing it the 8800GTX vidio cards are sweet i just got one and all i can do is giggle every time i start a game between that and the 22" wide screen it is a whole new expirence with the comp
