solstice made from the spare parts bin???
i was browsing wikipedia specificaly the pontiac solstice and i didn't relize what a mix of gm'* lineup composed the solstice
1.The rear axle and differential are from the Sigma-based Cadillac CTS
2. The interior storage bin is from the Cadillac XLR
3. The passenger'* side airbag, steering column, and exterior and interior door handles are from the Chevrolet Cobalt
4. The backup lights are from the GMC Envoy
5. The heating, ventilating, and air conditioning modules are from the Hummer H3
6. The front fog lamp assembly is from the Pontiac Grand Prix
7. The steering wheel is from the Pontiac Torrent
8. The 2.4 L Ecotec engine is shared with the Saturn Ion, Pontiac G6, Chevrolet Cobalt, and Chevrolet HHR
9. The five-speed manual transmission is from the Hummer H3, GMC Canyon, and Chevrolet Colorado
10. The five-speed automatic is from the Cadillac CTS, STS, and SRX

Yeah, I remember seeing that in a magazine somewhere. Or maybe it was for a different car, who knows!

I kinda like the Solstice. Hope it enjoys a longer life than the Fiero. Probably will since it is now the common chassis for two cars in different lines (Saturn Sky)
