In NY, if you already have a Class D, B, or A, just get your motorcycle permit, take the road test, pass and turn in the paperwork. Done.

I never took the MSF course. I've had a motorcycle learners permit since I was 16 years old though.

That'* funny, in PA, they don't require you to wear a helmet while on a bike...but you have to wear a seatbelt in a car. Kinda friggin retarded IMO.

Just a couple weeks ago I seen a guy on a crotch rocket with full "body armor", but no helmet. LMAO!

I think seatbelts are a federal thing while helmets are still being decided at the state level.

When I lived in FL I would see these retards riding their sport bikes in a pair of board shorts and flip flops. That'* it. Oh, sunglasses for their eyes of course! I've been riding for awhile, and I always wish they go down. I don't hope they die though, I want them to learn.

I've had a helmet save my life on two different occasions, so I'll always wear one. I do however believe that it should be up to the person if they want to.

theres no way id ride without a helmet, for safety purposes and the fact that it sucks hard riding on bikes having long hair

Well, studies have shown that helmets don't do much in preventing life disabling injury. They just allow you to live through an event that would have killed you. However, you're now a vegetable. That'* now how I wannna "live".
