I did some exploring today. That truck was last plated in 1989. It has been sitting for over 25 years. Had a lot of brush growing in the bed. it was open and the cab a lot of engine parts new in box. Maybe someone attempted to get it running at some point.

V6 Firebird or Camaro. I am not sure what one is. Looks like a nasty wreck.

The farmer that leases land in the back of my property is almost done harvesting. All I need is some snow so I can get out there and tear it up.

I don't like the looks of that truck. Looks like its sagging pretty bad in the middle. Classic sign of frame rot.

Oh yeah that thing is probably rusted out bad. With all that weight from the towing mech it has put a lot of stress on that rusted frame.

It'* just amazing what gets left out in the woods and in the farmland out here. A couple days ago I found an old pot belly stove. I drug it home and I will probably use it as yard art and plant flowers in it or something.

Yea, I can't believe it either. Some of the great cars just sitting out back of some of these barns rotting away. Makes me sick.

the truck could have been saved with a tarp and put up on blocks, but now frame is worthless, not worth saving.

the car is like 87-88 camaro, judging by the engine and the part of the spoiler thats left. normally only see those sunroofs on camaros too, i think its aftermarket but firebirds either have t-roofs or are left alone

I went to high school with a guy that had a Ford about that vintage, but his was a unibody. I remember he did a homemade body lift with hokey pucks. He came into the school parking lot a little hot one day and the whole body kinda yawed to one side, it was hilarious and scared the **** out of him. He decided it wasn't a good idea and took the homemade lift off.

Got sick of having the TV in the corner, and I really wanted it over the fireplace.

MMlqOKL.jpg

New stone, ran electrical cable, and I put the boxes in the basement so no cords and wires everywhere.

and done.

There is a glass shelf for the mantle that I built into the wall. I think it turned out decent. Now I just need to get a bigger TV. lol

Those jacks are from a local artist. I think they are pretty cool I got a bunch of them all over.

House down the road from me. They have a similar set up for the Fireplace. What I really want it a barn like that. One day.

If house prices are high by you I should move my house out your way and cash out. Homes are pretty cheap especially out in the country here.
