Default GM and Superchargers...or lack thereof

So tonight, my buddy and I took a drive out to Tim Hortons and met up with his neighbour. This fella in particular has a 2002 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson Edition truck...5.4L Supercharged engine. It has some ridiculous HP value of like 350HP and 3something hundred foot pounds of torque. Its an impressive truck, but its a Ford :?

Anyway, I also found out that Furd is releasing a 500 HP F150 SVT Lightning that has a Cold Air Intake wired up to the air conditioning system

Why doesn't GM put their supercharger...which by the way is probably better and put it on a GMC Sierra or Chevy Silverado. I don't really like trucks all that much, but I'd get an Envoy or Trailblazer with that new inline V6 and have added to it a SC....

GM has SC'd a lot of sedans....the GP, the Bonne, the Regal, the LSS to name a few, will the engineers ever SC a truck?....

Hmmmm, just thinking...

I've always wondered about towing with a supercharged engine. Is it safe to? Maybe that'* part of the reason??

The GMC Sierra C3(i think) could do a 6.3 0-60, that is DAMN fast for a truck.
GM used to make boosted trucks, Typhoon and it'* little brother whose name escapes me(a Sonoma), I have no idea why they stopped producing them but give GM some time and they'll put out some performance trucks just to keep up with Ford.

I know the little *-10 has like a 4.3L engine....wow, imagine adding a SC to that...the truck would have to be heavier, my pal Rico has one and he squaks it all the time

Yeah it used to be the cyclone (pickup) and typhoon(suv) had a turbo 4.3 v6. Had somewhere near 270 hp if i remember correctly. Usposedly could keep up with a vette of around the same year in acceleration anyway.
