Vendor endorsement
Hey all -
Now that the ordeal is over, I wanted to recc. to you all the place I got my motor from - Midwest Auto Recycling. I was pretty upset with em at first, but they took care of me. I mean yeah, the first motor was bad (well, sh** happens). But they sent me the second one and they paid the freight, and didn't make me ship the bad one back. Under the warranty terms, they could have done both, which would have run over $800. So even though I had to pay to have the motor installed twice.... I'm still ahead.
Also just wrote them a testemonial letter to put on their site, and then later asked if they had any SSE seat covers - they said they will keep an eye out, and if they come across any... they'll give 'em to me for free.
They're up in Wisc, which is near a lot of the folks here, so I thought I'd just let ya know ya really can't go wrong with 'em. One word of advice though - if you do run into a problem, use email - don't call. THis way you deal with the same rep every time.
Thx
Matt
PS
Mods, dunno if endorsing vendors is against any BC policy - if so, feel free to delete this post.
