you guys are all so lucky, i dont even smell the 40 bucks here in fort mc
last year i was charged 25 bucks a tire just to throw my summer rims on the car. just remove 5 bolts and install the new rims thats all, i'm like no thanks i'll do it home
But as for the price, check around and see what others charge... dealership are always a ripoff, its a known fact.

I got my tires at the dealership and they only charged me $25 per tire for mounting, balancing, valve stems, disposal, and taxes. That is a right on price for around here.
Also I take my Buick to the stealership (different than where I got the tires) for oil changes (Its less than $20 there with a coupon) and they had the nerve to take brake fluid out of my reservoir to make my brake light come on. Of course they denied it. Bastards!

Well I ended up going to tire choice right by my place as I've used them before and they are pretty cool guys working there. Was $15 per tire which is very reasonable as only cheaper place is Walmart.. got an alignment with one year warranty for $85 too...which gm dealer wanted 140 with no warranty. I'll be using tire choice for all my tire and alignment needs from now on.

Just a FYI for folks getting alignments- Firestone offers a lifetime alignment for $149. They will try and get you to buy all kinds of stuff everytime you go for an alignment.... for me, I say thanks but no thanks, I will do it myself. And bring it back after I do it for another alignment....

I get my tires done for 10 and a Hunter Laser Align for 45. I don't count the cost of the beer because I help him drink it...

After the car was finished this morning, I took it for some drive time and boy does the car drive nice now. No more steering shake and no more loud tire noise. Now I enjoy driving her...except for not having tint yet, I sweat my nuts off for the first few minutes in the car just waiting for the air to catch up.
It'* a little too quiet now, and I can't have that, so new exhaust is on its way lol.
Side note..I hate taxes, went and titled the car today, and renewed my tabs, walked out $1,000 poorer :(
