Default GM/Chrysler Merge?

I hope that doesn't happen, but Cerebus alrady owns a bunch of GMAC.
It would be like 1987 all over again
but more like 1954 if it works out well
COuld you imagine Hemi Camaros running around?

Cerberus already owns 51% of GM, so I am not sure what the hoopla is all about. Cerebus also owns a majority share of Daimler-Benz'* Chrysler arm but I wouldnt say that could be defined as Chrysler buying GM. Cerberus bought a majority share of Chrysler from Daimler as it was falling on it'* face so the proposed takeover should not be looked at as if Mopar is doing any better than GM, or buying it. The global giant Cerberus headed up by Ex-Treasury Secretary John Snow, Daimlers Wolfgang Bernhard, and Ford heavyweight David Thursfield is trying to buy everything in sight it seems including Tower Auto (huge parts supplier) and Delphi. Talk about Big Brother........

A hemi in a Camaro doesnt excite me, The modern day hemi is a distant cousin to the well powered 426 CID that made Mopar muscle cars famous and cost Mopar a fortune in Warranty claims. A Camaro with the GM 6.2 LSA w/Gen 6 supercharger pushing 556 HP @ 551 Lbs of torque. Now that would excite me.
