Ah life, I do love you so.
Havn't been too far from the house in six weeks, and while the salvage yard has agreed to ship me engine #2 at no cost... I suspect it'* gonna be a couple weeks or more before I have transportation.
Washing the dishes tonight.... suddenly standing in a puddle. No big deal, the bottom is just rotted out of the garbage disposal.
There will be a third machine that revolts soon, possibly more.
A few years ago... The washing machine died Monday.
Not to be outdone, the dryer went Thursday.
Unhappy about this, the water heater went Friday.
Of course, the fridge couldn't stand idly by with all this action, and it went on Sunday.
The upshot? I learned washer, dryer and fridge repair. The water heater got introduced to the dump.
Oh, did I forget? The furnace died a week later. But I had it fooled. It was under warranty, being as it was 3 months old. 12... count 'em... 12 service calls later, and the furnace was forced into compliance.
Edit: I forgot the reason for this post. We are under a tornado watch - I'd like to ask any readers of this to use all their mental energy to visualize a tornado forming at:
That'* Lee'* Summit, MO. My plan is to go into the basement, let the tornado take the house, and then get a new house from the insurance company.

Perhaps a tornado might be in your best interest given your situation haha.
