Since I've started working the group home, I guess you can say i've become a bit of an anti-illegal-drug activist lol. I've never been in cigerettes or the "other stuff" and never big into alcohol either. I think i had a phase which lasted about one month where i drank each weekend, then I met Murdock. It just dosn't do that much for me. And, to think, I have friends who have been going out every single weekend and getting DRUNK - nt just drinking - since age 19. That'* almost 3 consecutive years now.
It'* different when you sit on the back burner and get a GOOD OBJECTIVE look of why people do it (not the right reasons) and what it does to people, short term and long term. We had one kid disappear while under the influence, 2 weeks ago. She asked some complete total stranger for a ride to TO. Nobody knows where she is...or if she is even alive. That'* scary enough for me to say "no, thanks!"
