Interior comes out, replaced with a full custom Levi'* repop, in BLACK denim. Exterior loses the rear factory bumper, replaced with a roll pan. Front gets a deeper airdam, with integrated fogs that mirror the headlights in design. POWERPLANT........New Indy AMC drag block, bored and stroked to 476 cubes, with Indy heads and a pair of T88s. Built 727 for a tranny, CUSTOM IRS in the back using a Cobra center.
Paint it all in Burnt Orange Metallic, with a gold base to "warm" the paint.

Gut the interior, reupholster the seats with white vinyl and take out all that audio crap and replace it with a simple black vinyl dash with 2 dial radio and an 8-track player. Then, I'd shoehorn an LS7 in that tiny tiny engine bay. Then I'd paint it this blue:
Then I'd add in a twizzler dispenser on the headliner to top it off...

Peter, the Twizzler dispenser is not optional in this discussion. It'* a given in a Pacer, just a question of "which flavor of Twizzler?"
BTW, Pacers have a pretty good sized bay. V8 swaps aren't a problem at all, I've even seen a 426 Hemi wedged in there. Granted, he HAD to use solid mounts and some creative headers, but it did fit without modding the shock towers.
