OK, sorry, but I gotta input.
Forklift drivers. Try dealing with the ones that don't even understand "put that there" without their Spanish-speaking boss around to interpret.

I had a feeling that'd happen. I'm sorry to be a whistle blower but please, don't stereotype people by their races. I happen to know some very educated Latins and Mexicans that, even though they were born in their respective countries, speak English very well. Maybe you could have been more general perhaps?

No problem
BUT! I'd like to add that there are 3 admins on this site and 9 mods that would do the same thing, but it seems like none are on now due to the time. No offense, but I don't like when people pick on Will, because every large decision is discussed between the other two admins. Ok, I'm done

I worked making pizzas in the campus cafe for a couple weeks when I was in college. There were a few Indian guys that would come in and ask for "Wedgie Pizzas" because they did not eat beef. It was soooo hard not to laugh. "I'd like a large wedgie"

Theres so many more of these I can't even begin to count. I just wish ppl would learn how to speak ALL the enlish words. :sigh: Ok steam vents gone. Off to go to rest, I gotta be at work at 5:15 for the delivery truck!
IMO, if you choose to work in an area with a large spanish speaking population, maybe you should learn all the spanish words... Aren't these customers paying YOUR salary? This thread seems to be rather controvertial.

How is that racist? They were strait from India and pronounced V'* as W'* because they had a heavy accent. I'm not stereotyping, just saying how it was. I certainly did not mean it in a negative way. :?
