Gas Stations, What a Joke!!!
How many of you have gone to gas stations that want you to pay before you get gas?? I went to an Exxon today that was like that. I picked up the thing a ma jigger and stuck it in my filler ma bobber. Then hit the button for 89 and the screen asked me to please pay the cashier before fueling. I was so mad. I just left without getting gas. I planned of filling up. I dont know how much gas I am going to use so how the hell can I pay for it first. Thats so stupid. I can go to my local sunoco and fill up - then pay at 3am without a problem. I got in a fight with a manager awhile back about this. I asked him how am I going to prepay for an amount of gas that I dont know how much I am going to need. I aint walking in and paying for every 5 dollars I go over. Geez.

I find it a major pain in the A$$ to have to run in and pay, get gas, then run in for change. When this happens I go to another station and the one loses my business. I like to cram as much gas in my tank as I can so I never know how much I am actually going to use.

the thing is, you can still give the cashier $5 at some stations, pump more than $5, and run with it. only a little difference from stealing all of it :P so there'* really almost no point. thankfully DeKalb is still a fairly trusting (small?) city.

Even worse... here in Oregon you aren't allowed to pump your own gas unless you have a commercial account. I can't tell you how many times I've watch some guy that deserves minimum wage spill gas down the side of the car and not even think about cleaning it off.
Or worse yet..imagine not knowing the fuel capacity of a rental 3ton and having to go in THREE times to fill the tank because you don't know what it will cost to fill the POS. All because they want you to prepay. Am I really gonna get far in a truck that frickin big?

I will just have to go to my good ol sunoco tomorrow and fill up. Too bad for Exxon, they lost my $25 in gas. Theres nothing worse than running late for work, running low on gas, and needing to prepay, forget that. It a wonder they dont lose a bunch of business cause of that? I'm still freakin mad.
