Time for me to start using 89 octane and ease the throttle, sticker shock has set in, this afternoon 87 octane was down to $1.04 a litre, its now up at a whopping $1.29 a litre :?

almost 30% in a few hours? This is ridiculous....honestly.

I drove past a gas station yesterday afternoon and saw it was $2.71/gal for 87! I was shocked, BUT late last night I went to fill up and it was $2.99 Up about .30 in a few hours. Cost me $40 and I had 3 gallons still in my tank. It would cost me just about $50 for a full tank.

Reading some newpaper articles from detroit, it says gas prices here will be over 2.10/per gallon until 2007. Id just like to see it get that low. 2.10 is managible, but 3.45 or 3.50 for unleaded when I have to drive 100 miles a day gets old quick. Im not letting my tank get below 3/4 of a tank.

Perhaps a house closer to your job is a good idea?
