Cricket Removal
This may sound kinda dumb, but it'* really bugging me.
I moved in to a new townhouse. I live in a tri-level. I'm on the bottom floor so my window sits right on the ground level. There are crickets outside everywhere, even near my window. They chrip 24/7, and it'* really getting annoying. I have trouble sleeping sometimes.
Anyone know a good way to get rid of these things or to repel them?

Crickets...bugging...ha...good one!
Found this at a website about insects and "green" ways of getting rid of them.
To get rid of crickets, mix some molasses and vanilla extract or lemon juice in water. Crickets are lured to this bait and they drown in it.

We could switch houses, I can live in your house and you can live with my parents. Crickets don't bother me none.

yes this works but it needs to be low to the ground so they will get in.
something like recessing a tupperware container in the ground.
if its to high they will not bother.
you can also try glue traps.

Ohh how about a bb gun? You could sit outside and wait for one to hop along and you can shoot it, by the time all been killed you're a sharpshooter And you can go to fairs and win a lot of prizes.

Tarntulas. Tarantulas are very quiet, and love crickets.
Other than that, all I can think of is some sort of insecticide powder you could spread outside your windows.
