Default Friend'* wheel is stuck on

My ex texted me and said her Jeep'* rear tire went flat, but when her boyfriend went to change the tire, the lug nuts came off but the wheel didn't.

I'm guessing he didn't pull hard enough or her lugs are all bent inward. Anyone have this happen to them?

I've run in to this several times. One option is to sit down and kick the bottom and then the top of the wheel. If that don't work. Put the lug nuts back on, but not tight, just a bit loose, and drive around in a circle. This should pop it lose.

Update: after some kicking and pulling by both of them, her cool manager gave her a ride to work. After that, he filled the tire with a bike pump enough to get it to the service station. They repaired the tire and remounted it without a problem.

All'* well that ends well, I suppose.

Pretty common really when alloy wheels are bolted to iron rotors, drums. I like Dan, use the sit and kick maneuver. I try to remember to use white grease on the back side of the rims when I put them on.

Or like how I get that damned spacer out of the motor mount during a belt change.

Nah, then I'd need to buy a new motor mount. I just use the old belt as leverage and it pops right out. It helps if you wrestle with it for 20 minutes to soften it up.
