ive found that houses in faribault Minnestota are pretty decently priced for what you get

i was talking to a friend and a brother about it, and my brother said not to go to faribualt because its a poopty town full of drugies, and he knows guys that go down there just to sell crank. a friend said "when you go down there at night you'll drive down the street thats empty and when you look in your rearview mirror you'll see 10+ somolian'* appear out of no where, there'* tons of wanna be gang bangers down there"

neither of them live down there, and when i drove down there (saturday at like 3pm) it didn't seem like a bad place at all, seemed like a nice town. maybe i was in the better area...i dont know.

anyone have any info on this city?

Anyways.......Pretty much all that is stated by your brother and others is pretty much true. During the day it'* your perfect lil town full of hussle and bussle. By night it'* Mexican and Somalie central. Some areas yes are worse then others. I would prolly try to steer away from the main downtown area. Where are you living now and why did you choose Fairbault?

im in rosemount now, im just looking for a place i can get a decent house for 150-160k. you can down there, but i guess its all location...

know anything about lonsdale? i guess thats still to close to the ghetto. ive been looking at northfield too, but it just seemed like alot more bang for the buck in faribault

Northfield is more ghetto then Lonsdale IMO.

Actually i think Elko/just outside of elko would be great. Lakeville is filling up fast, and with a new HS property will start to be filled in the surrounding area. Some of it is the credit river township too, etc.

Fairbault isn't gonna grow anytime soon. I wouldn't even bother with it....

Lonsdale'* starting to fill up as with elko.

Both have some pretty cheap housing and also growing rather quick. You could get a nice place in Elko or Lonsdale, and 3-4 yrs later prolly sell it for more than you paid for it.......Land is in high demand in those areas.

Our property value jumped 25-33% in the last 6 or so years since we moved here.

That 25-33% is about 100k. Lakeville is great.

thats for sure, i dont think i could even get a lot in lakeville for that....

so far, im looking lonsdale/northfield or redwing.....red wing is another one i have to look out for, parts are **** holes, parts are nice.

any idea what part is bad? i was down there yesterday for work actually, and it didn't seem to bad. i mean every town has wanna be gang bangers. it wasn't anything like i thought it was going to be. i have some people telling me the town is like all other towns, some people are saying its tweaker centeral...but the people saying that are probably tweakers themselves (from school)

you can get a pretty nice house for 150k down there, same house is like 180+ in northfield.
